While the City Sleeps was a twist on the Big City Nights series, to take the sunglasses reflection theme and incorporate a street art / graffiti vibe into the comic style. The shading and negative space is created using spattered yellow and white paint on a black stone texture background. The city is created using the Noir comic style of Big City Nights of the city lights at night of Montreal.
