The 'Right Here In My Arms' series is exactly what it claims to be, paintings of lovers embracing each other. The context of the hugs and holds are unknown to us, but they are important to the people in the painting. I wanted to capture emotion combined with the Psychameleon dripping style, and to tackle the depth of multiple bodies using shaded under paintings. Beneath the glossy swirls of colour is a monochrome shaded image of all the shadows and details necessary to make the figures have dimension and depth on the canvas.
